About
The word hospice is a shortened version of "healing with dignity." This type of medical care is meant to offer support and comfort for patients and their families during a terminal illness. While this form of medical care has been around for centuries, it is becoming more widely accepted in the United States as many traditional practices are being changed to include more holistic medicine and treatment choices. This type of medical care also allows patients to feel a sense of control over their own health and death, rather than simply accepting that fate.
The goal of hospice is to make sure that there is no need for expensive and potentially harmful surgeries or costly drugs. Instead, they will be given treatments that can offer the same or better quality of life over and above what traditional care can give.
We are dedicated to providing compassionate care that is tailored for each individual's unique needs. We can help with everything from getting medications to making changes to their daily living routine. |
